Sacred Goblet of Wisdom

The crepuscule night became
as a living dream
unending as somber foot steps
glimmering as a glaucous pearl
with the fluttering of alabastrine muses
singing inside prolific arcs of my soul
Echoing as an evensong of lustrous candlelight
with the hymnals of lovers and saints
I whisper inside this pendulant perfection
of song and laughter and vespertine hues
growing new gardens in every sonnet
as I listen to the eves of twilight moan
An enlightenment opens her prolific eyes
shining as a lost and lonely star
gazing where we gloam into the quietus hours
of fallen rainbows and fragrant perfumes
knowing we too shall dance and dance
Noticing the credulous fevers of the sky
and the kisses of the Zephyrus eventide
I drink from their delicate cups and chalices
as a sacred goblet of wisdom spills and pours
beckoning my life to swim inside their offering
unwrapped like the crisp morning of another new day…
